Copy of Royal Navy Records; Cadet from 6th November 1882. Signed on for 10 years on his 18th Birthday, 24th October 1885. Discharged on 24th October 1895. He re-signed on 20th August 1914, two weeks after the outbreak of the first World War. He was finally discharged on 2nd October 1919.
